Washington, D.C. – November 11, 2021 – Today, Helmets to Hardhats Executive Director Martin Helms issued the following statement in recognition of Veterans Day:
“Today, Helmets to Hardhats extends a sincere moment of gratitude to all the men and women of the armed forces, past and present. Much like the committed tradespeople who rolled up their sleeves to build this great nation, our brave veterans put on a uniform to be part of something bigger than themselves. These heroes have given their blood, sweat, and tears to put America’s interests ahead of their own, knowing their own lives might be the price for this defense.”
“Helmets to Hardhats salutes all veterans of this great nation. We honor those who have passed and are grateful for those who are present. We encourage everyone to take time today to personally thank a veteran for their ongoing commitment to making this country the home of the brave, and the land of the free. God Bless.”
