Larry Clayton

From the frontlines to empowering fellow veterans, Larry’s mission is unwavering. With over 14 years of
military experience and a passion for serving those who served, Larry is dedicated to enhancing the lives
of our veteran community.

Larry joined the Navy straight out of high school in Lowell, MA. He was enlisted as an aviation mechanic, working on F/A-18 fighter jets and SH-60 Helicopters. Within 3 years, Larry had reclassified into the construction realm as a SEABEE. He spent the next 11 years leading and training troops into combat and humanitarian missions abroad. In 2006, Larry achieved the rank of E5, which qualified him to start leading squads and detachments. He earned the SEABEE combat warfare device, multiple letters of
commendation, and recognition for dedication and unwavering ability to lead and train.

Certified as a Journeyman instructor in 2010 as well as Master Training Specialist, Larry was offered the
chance to become the lead instructor and mechanic for the Water Well Drilling school at Naval Construction Training Center China Lake.

After leaving the service in 2014, Larry attended culinary school at Le Cordon Bleu, graduating with
honors and an associate degree. He spent a couple years working as a cook and banquet chef. In 2019,
Larry went on to become a VA Benefits Specialist for the Transition Assistance program for the New England region. Most recently, he was a federal contractor for the Reserve Component Transition Advisor program, working with transitioning reserve and National Guardsman.

As a veteran advocate, employment specialist, and military transition expert, Larry leverages his credentials to help veterans achieve their personal and professional goals.

Larry wants to help those who want to learn the trades and continue that work for the next generation. He has lead and trained troops and ready to move forward with the same dedication and perseverance to help those achieve their passion and goals.
